I have been eating Lee's sammiches for yearssssss. I get the BBQ pork sandy and obviously it ain't good unless you're shredding the roof of your mouth up! That said you can only have it once or twice a week unless you're a gluten for serious punishment! Anyway on to what we're all here for! So I got my BBQ pork sandwich today and that was good, just the right amount of mouth shredding crisp on the outside but soft on the inside where all the meat and veg go to party! The flavor combination melds together perfectly with Elmo's every bite finished off with a mega pop of heat from the thinly sliced Serrano/jalapeño chili's. Service was fast and courteous and the location was clean. It was after lunch time so it wasn't busy.
The reason for the 3 stars is come down to the spring rolls I ordered. I was under the assumption that they would be made fresh. Sadly this wasn't the case. Upon signing my receipt, the cashier handed me a pre-made package similar to what you might get in a grocery store. If you know anything about soft spring rolls, you know if the rice paper is old or exposed to air for pretty much any period of time, it can get hard and inedible. That was the case. On the ends where the rice paper is usually folded, it was hard. The ends had to be cut off after getting a nasty mouthful on the first one. Once you got past that it was okay, just a bit dry. The sauce supplied was no good. It had an odd flavor. I can't explain it but I'd probably avoid it if offered to me again. Lesson learned!
The sandwiches and coffee are what you go there for. All of the other nonsense is just point of sale up-sales which isn't a bad thing, but at least make sure it's something good... or at least holds up well if you have to pre-make them. -

First and last time to go there.
I ordered a European vegetarian sandwich & my friend had a club.
The bread was horribly stale. My sandwich had zero flavor and the bread was rock hard. I threw it out.
The table we sat at waiting for our order was filthy and one of the legs had a wad of paper stuffed under to keep the table level. Classy.
Will not go back ever ever ever... -

I love Lee's Sandwiches, and I often visit this location to get my morning essentials: one special combination and one iced black coffee. Today I came back for the same thing and got disappointed. The lady who made my black coffee filled up the entire cup with ice and poured very tiny amount of coffee. The coffee was heavily diluted, and I finished my coffee with couple small sips. I understand that business need to cut cost from time to time to generate profit and to stay in business. However, this is not the way to do it. There are many other options. This is just frugality.

This location has never been packed when I come, which is a bonus for us! We normally order the bbq pork sandwiches and egg-rolls. The one thing about my order that went side ways was the egg-rolls. I order beef and shrimp and they served me with chicken. That wasn't the only issue, but one of my sandwiches I ordered plain because my kids just waste veggies, but it came with everything. So my only advice is to take your time especially when there is no one else in the shop. Or better yet, read the order correctly before proceeding. Again, nothing wrong with the food itself, just the outcome of it. Overall it was an okay visit!

Too slow
Not enough people work here
The Baguettes took 10 minuets
But it's fresh and hot and I guess it's worth to wait.
